change your diet.
it worked for me, really
Floss, gargle and Breath Assure.
go see your dentist again and ask for more treatment options. their are many factors that can go into bad breath such as diet, the right toothbrushing technique and conditions such as halitosis. your dentist should understand that its important for you in the social and work environment to have good breath.
Sound like you should see the dentist again. There can be only 2 reasons for bad breath: 1) dental problems 2) digestion problems.
In first case good dentist rakes care of your teeth and bad breath goes away, in the second one, – changing diet works. Menawhile I can suggest Listerine pocket packs – they are really strong, and gum.
If you stick your tongue out and see any color other than pink, brush your tongue; If you gag easily stick out your tongue as far as possible and gently bite your tongue, then brush the portion of tongue, in front of your teeth. (i’m not kidding) The teeth block the gag reflex. try to get the portion farther back as best you can. It may take a few days but your tongue will gradually go back to a healthy pink color. Then your bad breath will go away.
Try a tongue scraper and sometimes bad breathe has alot to do with what you re eating and the gasses that come back up later. Sounds like you need to start flossing too….that will make a big difference and also try brushing in the middle of the day. Alot of the time brushing is not enough for people who have periodontal problems, this is caused by plaque build-up that forms below the gum line and can’t be removed with regular brushings or even cleanings; what you need is Perio scaling and root planing, also referred to as a deep cleaning sometimes. They will numb you up and clean clean below the gumline to remove that plaque build-up. Good luck!
brush 3 times day after every meal or after work/ school. floss and use a mouth wash.make sure your brushing for 2-3 and get your gums tongue and the roof or your mouth.. also see your dentist he might prescribe something, or just give you some tips similar to mine but still go!!!! many people don’t go for there 6 mouth dentist check up. go it is very important. don’t be afraid of what he says to you its only going to help. many think he might find something and you have to get teeth pulled, well i say if he dose find something its completely your fault and if he says it needs to go, its for your own good.
remember:
-bruch 3 times a day
-flose
-use mouth wash
-visit your dentist every 6 mounths
-do what your dentist says
i think most of what you need to do has been covered very well by a previous post.
its also possible however to have bacterial infections in the crytps of you tonsils causing bad breath which will not respond to the management above.
in severe cases surgery can be considered, but address all the hygeine and diet issues – as mensioned above.
talk with you dentist or doctor about the problem. it needs to be taken seriously. but is not an impossible problem
Good luck!
get your teeth professionally cleaned, and use a medicated mouth wash three times a day, sounds like you have a condition that requires a lot of attention..
use an anti bacterial mouthwash 2-3 times a day
