my gf is getting her tonsils taken out soon?
once she has them taken out, how long do i have to wait before we can start kissing again or do normal activities
what would she be like during the healing process?
would she be grouchy and all pissed off or depressed? (ofc she isnt going to be happy)
we usually have late night phone convos like everyday for like hours
what do you think is going to happen/know is going to happen/etc
im not trippin out im just wondering.

My
name is Lesli Paterson, and welcome to my blog. I created this blog to
help other people like me who are suffering with tonsil stones.
She will need a couple of days to recuperate, i.e. popsicles, milk shakes, soft food, reduced conversation, but it shouldn’t be too long before you’re both enjoying your usual activites. Just give her the time she needs and she’ll be fine.
The answer to that question is dependent on age. The older she is, the longer is takes to heal. The doctor should give the appropriate instructions prior to and after surgery. The older she is, the more major the surgery it is.
Light lip/lip kissing should be okay shortly after surgery. Keep in mind that her throat will be very sore and it will probably be difficult to swallow. This will last for several days. She may have some difficulty/pain with talking for the first 24 to 48 hours. The hour long conversations should wait a few days.
Deeper kissing should wait about a week. Not only from the standpoint of healing, but also keeping in mind that when you kiss her you introduce more bacteria into an area with healing incisions.
I hope she does well.
