And he hasn’t been coughing up anything or getting food lodged in the hole.

Only the one tonsil swelled up, and then just today he realized the hole.

So far the only thing I’ve read that didn’t suggest tonsil stones was a forum on which a woman described how her tonsil cancer appeared first as a hole in her tonsil that all her doctors for the first 12 months told her was just a blister.

I doubt he has cancer, but we really would like to know what’s going on, and whether it will go away or if he needs to get it checked out.

Oh, and btw, he turned 19 last month and is now off of his father’s health insurance. So….X(

It doesn’t really smell bad, but their is an odor. I heard it has to do with sinus infection. For the past few weeks, maybe a little over a month, he was complaining of a pain on his left side and trouble breathing.
I took him to my doctor and she said the trouble breathing was bc his tonsils were very much swollen and he was very much congested and when she touched his left side he didn’t complain of pain, so she said it was probably gas. She gave him antibiotics and said once his tonsils get better his breathing will be back to normal.
When he went to his doctor and he checked on the left side the physician said he felt his spleen slightly enlarged. He said he has to wait for the blood work to confirm but most likely a follow up sonogram of the spleen will be able to tell more.
Of course i read on line all the possible things that could be wrong, from an infection (which he had) to cancer (God forbid)…My question is how worried should we be? He’s young…25 in June…no major health issues in the past, just your common colds. He’s never even really had a fever. For those of you that have had an enlarged spleen…what was the prognosis? What happened after?
Another question I have…can the trouble breathing be related to the spleen issue?

I still very upset over it. It made no sense at all. It started off with me being asked out by an ex friend of mine (he’s always tried to win me back as a friend, and he’s now dating a friend of mine who I’m not so fond off) so in the dream he tells me he wants to date me (when I’m already committed, and that he’ll leave her for me) I rejected him. Then next part of the dream is where he and his girl are over at my house, and they have a BABY, their baby. At a point I tell them I’m going to the loo and in the dream I had two windows close by which can get a person in from the loo the bedroom to the loo. So as weird as it may sound they said something like if the baby tries to get in the loo catch it. Next thing I see is a hand from the bathroom window (ex friends hand with the baby) he drops the baby in the loo. Baby falls and the heads bleeding. They blame me for it, like I killed the baby! I felt it was his source of ‘revenge’ for rejecting him. I then go to my boyfriend for help and somehow I get to know he’s had sex with my grandmother. I got so angry at her first and she taunted me saying that I always told her he’s so committed to me. (which he IS in real life!) then I got up.
This dream has upset me so much. I’ve also just been admitted out of hospital for acute septic tonsils and I don’t sleep well at night, could it have to do with that? WHAT DOES THIS DREAM MEAN? PLEASE help me out :(
Thank you for your help :) But he was an ex FRIEND. We never dated. I don’t like him or her because she tried ruining my life and he betrayed me as a friend. My relationship with my boyfriend is strong, but we don’t get time because I’m still weak and in pain. Thanks once again. :)
