Ok, so I’m 19 and trying to decide if I should have my tonsils removed or not. I’ve been having problems with tonsil stones for awhile now and they have gotten to be more than just uncomfortable. I’m having to remove them from one, or both of my tonsils almost daily. I have a sore throat constantly. My ent doctor told me he would take them out if I wanted him to, but advised me that it would hurt a lot.
I was wondering what the surgery was like and how long the recovery time is. I heard that the older you are, the worse it is. I’m in college and don’t want to miss too many classes.
Any advice would be great.
