I am 25 years old.. I get chronic tonsil stones and there annoying as hell. I am going to go to the doctor tomorrow for it. But i know there going to try to give me prescriptions that i don’t really want to take. I mean its going to be a waste of time and money i think so I think I should be able to choose to have them removed. I know I have heard its painful as hell to have them removed or whatever but pain is temporary. And im tired of spending 30 minutes a night removing crap out of my throat. So is this a choice I can make at the doctor? Im not really into waisting time. thanks!!

I got tonsilitis twice last year within a period of two months and I get tonsil stones maybe once every 1-2 months. Also, for the past 4 days my right tonsil hurts but its not visibly infected or bigger. My grandma has had these very same problems for her whole life and she still has her tonsils. I was thinking of getting mine removed, should i?
