My tonsils have been swollen for years and they are almost touching my uvula and now im starting to get those awful tonsil stones on a daily…. should i get them removed ?
well ive always had like the state insurance and they always jus lo0ked over it like it was a usual thing
and its so hard talking bcuz i fee like its a strain to talk because their so big

Im 16 years old.
i get sick about every 3 months if im lucky. last year it was literally every single month.
but this year ive been pretty lucky ive only been sick a couple times.

but let me tell you…when i say sick i mean REAL SICK
staying out of school for 2-3 days
cant swallow my own spit because of my sore throat so i constantly have to spit and its not even hacking up loogys its just everyday saliva..

oh and i get tonsil stones..my tonsils arent THAT big but they are noticeable and have these cavitys in them where my tonsil stones hide in.

i know tonsils are meant for fighting off cold but im thinking how much worse can it get..
but then i think wat if it DOES get worse if i do get them removed..

i tried talking to my doc and shes against it.
