I got tonsilitis twice last year within a period of two months and I get tonsil stones maybe once every 1-2 months. Also, for the past 4 days my right tonsil hurts but its not visibly infected or bigger. My grandma has had these very same problems for her whole life and she still has her tonsils. I was thinking of getting mine removed, should i?

i constantly get tonsil stones and it grosses me out, ive got like ocd when it comes to them now, should i get them out? moneys not a problem either is time its just do you think a doctor would do it because i have tonsil stones?
