when i went to the ENT i said i have tonsil stones and i always get bad sinus pressure. he did x-rays of my sinuses and said i have an extremely deviated septum and “air sacs” in my sinuses which is rare and only found in 5% of the population and so my sinus pressure is caused by that and the tonsil stones would not cause it.

well i still can’t believe that cuz it seems like when ever i have a lot or a pretty big tonsil stone that doesn’t want to come out i get bad sinus pressure so i still feel like the problems are related.

right now i have a giant tonsil stone that i can’t seem to get at and i just started getting terrible sinus pressure.

so in your opinion or experience do you think tonsil stones cause sinus pressure?

i guess i’ll have my answer for sure after i get my tonsils out and heal but i just wanted opinions.

(Chronic sinusitis) Its nothing too serious, I just feel clogged all the time and get post nasal drip like no other. Its irritating but I can deal with it. My doctor prescribed a nasal steroid but I refuse to take steroids because of the side effects. Lately I’ve had a problem with tonsil stones as well, and that’s not really bearable. I’ve had three in the past four days, and removing them does nothing. They just keep coming back. I actually have a really sore throat because of it .. I think that removing them actually makes the problem worse because of the openings that are left when I do so. I’m thinking of having my tonsils removed, but I wonder if this will help or hurt my sinus problem. I currently go to a pediatrician who refuses to negotiate the problem because I wont take the steroids. I’m going to switch to a family doctor soon anyways, but my question is should I go about having my tonsils removed or wait?

usually every few days i’ll feel like i have one and then my cheeks, and head, and eyes hurt really bad.
currently i’ve had at least one tonsil stone for 7 days now. i cannot get it out no matter what i do and today i have horrible sinus pressure.
do you think there is a link since our ears, nose, and throat are connected?

At age 7 I got tubes put in my ears and adenoids taken out. I was healthy for a while after that. Around 12 I got sick again. Allergie tests came back negative and I was diagnosed with asthma. The medecine didn’t help and I switched doctors. I was diagnosed with non allergic rhinitis and treated with steroids and antibiotics. I went back to the ear nose and throat doctor that did my operation when I was 7. He said that a scan of my head came back showing my adenoids grew back and I had polyps but didn’t suggest any solutions. I don’t know what to do. My nose is always running, I have headaches, my ears hurt, my tonsils are almost touching with white dots and hurt a lot, coughing, sneezing, fatigue. I just want to be healthy and normal, what should I do? I go to the doctor and he gives me antibiotics and I’m back a few weeks later.
I live in a place where the air is clean. No one else around is sick either.

Mostly post nasal drip I am guessing because I get a bad taste, sore throats from it at times, and when I lay down it sometimes is hard to swallow. I also currently have an earache even after being on antibiotics 2 weeks ago (it never went away completely). I have been on antibiotics several times in the last two years for sore throat etc but it just seems like a reoccurring thing that never really gets 100% better. What is going on and what are my options? I don’t really have sinus congestion, though my nose is always icky when I blow it in the a.m. and sometimes bloody.
I just want to fix the problem because I feel as if I have constant infection in my body from something. I am also tired of having bad breath from the nasty drainage! HELP!!

Most of the time I can’t even breathe through my nose with my mouth closed! It really upsets me beacuse i’m 16 and finally have a new bf. I read that when you kiss somone your supposed to actually breath through your nose….obviously I can find that a little hard to do. My nose seems to be producing a lot of mucus or either the things in the back of my nostrils are insanely inlarged.(I think it’s the adnoids..srry if it’s mispelled) Therefore blocking my nasal passage and my ability to properly breathe. I just got a CAT scan and will have a follow-up with the Nose, Ear, and Throat doctor (my first time seeing one). I’m hoping there’s some kind of miracle surgery out there, but until then, are there any remedies someone knows that can help my serious problem?
