ever since i was little ive had my tonsils swell up every few weeks. im 15 and have no idea why they didnt just take em out before. they used to swell up so big i could barely breath and i would snore while i was awake. anyway now theyre really painful, not swollen but really painful. and i keep caughing up huge tonsil stones and its really gross. if go to the doctor will they actually take out my tonsils now? theyve considered it before but never did it.
tonsil stones are little white “rock” looking things that get form in crypts in your tonsils

It looks my throat is barely open, my tonsils are red and inflamed. There are what looks like white pus pockets on them. They are sore but not painful, however it is extremely uncomfortable to eat/drink. My left lymph node in my neck feels sore. I have no health insurance, is this someting that will go away or should I be on antibiotics or ? Do you think this could be strep, mono, etc?

Please help me my right tonsil is swollen and has a skin like hanging thing near it?

Hi i have a sore throat, i have like a loose piece of skin or something near my tonsil which i have had checked about a year ago, dr saying it nothing! now i have this sore throat that i wake up with every morning for past couple of weeks, today my one tonsil is red and sore. Every website i look on says sore throat is first sign of throat cancer, that really scares me alot? does anyone have any ideas? please help im really paranoid and driving myself nuts.

i gave oral to my boy friend on valentine’s day and on monday, i have been getting the symptoms of a common cold. but now, my throat is very sore and it’s thursday. i have swollen tonsils. i’m worried. my boy friend got tested in december. i don’t know what to do or what this is?

ive had swollen lymph nodes in my neck for a week now, and swollen tonsils, i had a fever when i was first sick last week, its gone now and i feel fine besides an occasional cough and my tonsils and lymph nodes are still swollen, their noit rubbery, their hard in the left and right side of my neck next to my tonsils…….i’m kinda a worry wart and im hoping its not lymphoma, also theres a very small hole in one of my tonsils as if it’s had a tiny piece taken out of it…….if anyone can help me with what this might be i’d appreciate it

I’ve had a swollen, painful right tonsil for about two weeks. There was a pocket of pus on it at one point, and it may have gone away by now. I have been on antibiotics (amoxicillin, 1750mg per day) for a week and the tonsil is still so swollen and painful. What’s going on and what course of action should I take now?

i’ve had a sore throat for about 10 days. i looked in the mirror yesterday and had other poeple look at my throat and i have verry swollen tonsils with white bumps on them.

yesterday i went to the doctor about it. they tested for strep throat, and it was negative. i also had blood taken to test for mono, but i haven’t gotten the results yet…how long does it generally take to get results?

im not sure i have mono though, because i am not at all tired and have no other symptoms aside for the sore throat/swollen tonsils….does this mean i have tonsillitis, or is that the same thing as strep?

please help i dont want to be sick and the thought of this kind of thing in my mouth makes me feel like puking

my tonsils are swollen, what is a good home remedy?
