i’ve had a sore throat for about 10 days. i looked in the mirror yesterday and had other poeple look at my throat and i have verry swollen tonsils with white bumps on them.

yesterday i went to the doctor about it. they tested for strep throat, and it was negative. i also had blood taken to test for mono, but i haven’t gotten the results yet…how long does it generally take to get results?

im not sure i have mono though, because i am not at all tired and have no other symptoms aside for the sore throat/swollen tonsils….does this mean i have tonsillitis, or is that the same thing as strep?

please help i dont want to be sick and the thought of this kind of thing in my mouth makes me feel like puking
