tonsillitis problem- a yellow or white coating on the tonsils?

im not ill at all , but about a year ago i seem to be getting a white bits at the side of my tonsils, it gets bigger sometimes and then i cough it up , then it happens again and its been going through this cirle for ages now, how do i prevent it , ave you had this when you havent even been ill , i have one, one at at a time

My friend has this too. She said the doctor told her that there are three glands per tonsil that produce this whitish, bad smelling goo. She was also told to just keep spitting the stuff out when she coughs it up. The doc tested it for strep too. Get your tested to make sure it’s not serious. my friends isn’t .
Normally white but not enough information here to really say much more. Without going to a doctor, which you should consider. log onto WebMD.com and see what they have to say. It’s a great site for information.
i had those! its food that get caught in swollen glands on your tonsils, i would go to your doctor and have them look and see if you need your tonsils taken out, i had too!
and i never felt sick at all!
