What tools can I use to remove a tonsil stone?

OK so I have had this one tonsil stone for over a year. Tonight I decided that it’s time for it to come out. I have been trying to remove it with a Q-tip and the end of a comb but it isn’t working at all. What else can I use?

Go to the doctors. it is very easy to get infections in that area. So don’t do it yourself.
I use a cuticle stick, I dip it in Listerine first.
